This is the season for outdoor shows and events. A line array system is the ideal sound solution. However, structurally or economically, flying a system may not be possible. Enter the Grund Audio GA-4041 Ground Stack System.

In today's economy, everyone is cutting costs and becoming more focused on profits. The GA-4041 system provides a low-cost alternative to a flying system. Not only are there savings in the labor and equipment costs of rigging, but transportation costs are much lower because of the space-saving, truck pack design.

The GALA GA-4041 Ground Stack System was designed as a cost-saving solution for shows and events requiring a true line array design. Grund Audio design engineer, Frank Grund, along with touring FOH professionals, spent two years developing the ground stack design. The development included researching all the angles required of a true line array. The data was converted into averages, other design features implemented, and the end result is the GA-4041 system. One important design feature is the stacking tracks, and locking grooves on each cabinet to ensure the degree alignment and help secure the stacks.

The GA-4041 ground stack, used in conjunction with the GT-LPB-36 subwoofer, makes an extreme high-performance, wide dynamic range system. This system rocks! This system delivers vocal articulation well into the 200 foot range, while the sub base delivers high concussion with low frequency response. This system (four GA-4041's and four GT-LPB-36's) provides a knock-out punch of power consisting of 8000 watts on the low frequency, 8000 watts on the mid range, and 2000 watts on the high frequency.

The GT-LPB-36 subwoofer not only creates low-end frequency, as all subwoofers do, it also delivers a high-concussive low frequency response. One of the unique design features of the GT-LPB-36, is that the woofers deliver high velocity in both positive and negative motion, allowing the low frequency to deliver the same intensity at both the front and back of the crowd. The relative forward motion of the energy eliminates wrapping the low-end back on stage.

The GT-LPB-36 subwoofer delivers more SPL than any other subwoofer in its size or class.

Since a primary function of the ground stack is for outdoor use, the cones are waterproof and each 13-ply Baltic birch cabinet is finished with our UV resistant Tour Coat™ finish to endure the outdoor elements and the abuses of road travel.

The GA-4041, GT-LPB-36 Ground Stack System is a perfect solution for outdoor productions including concerts, fairs, carnivals, festivals, rodeos, and X-Games, to name a few.

This system is equally at home for indoor events as well, including theaters, concerts, conventions and other live production events.
