As a pro audio installer and disc jockey for over 15 years, I have used many lines of speakers. I have changed brands over and over looking for speakers that are perfect for the job. Versatility is a key reason in our decision, and none have been more versatile than the Grund Audio GP Series.

The GP Series speakers offer high output and quality in a well-built molded cabinet. The speaker is easy and lightweight to move with built-in fly points for installation. All sizes of speakers can be used via fly points, pole mount or on their sides as monitors.

The GP-312A is the 12-inch active speaker in the GP Series. The 12-inch speaker has been the constant in the active speaker revolution. Grund Audio did not race to get in the game, but waited and developed a speaker that would exceed all others. With the GP-312A, Grund Audio has a speaker that has more power, punch, and vibrant sound than its competitors, without the unwanted feedback and noise. All GP Series speakers offer the ability to take studio quality on the road.

The GP-312A and GP-310A sound great when used by them selves but give you the option to add more when more coverage is desired. XLR thru connections allow you to chain speakers together on site or in an install with ease. However, mating them with any of the Grund Audio subs (I use the GT-LPB-18 with the tops) will provide enough output for the largest of events.

The GP-315A is theBig Dog" of the line. It brings the same level of quality, with an increase in performance that only a 15" can give. The low-end in this speaker is impressive and has a long throw that is great for outdoor events.

Notably, all three models have identical designs. XLR inputs and outputs are used for easy connectivity and linking. There are volume and gain controls, along with a 3-band EQ, to adjust the levels for personal preference. One last feature that is convenient is the option to hook up a mic line directly to the cabinet making it useable as a portable PA as well.

In conclusion, the performance, versatility, and sound quality make the GP Series a great choice for any application. And like all Grund Audio products, the GP Series is at a modest price in comparison with its competition. Better Performance, Better Quality, Better Sound, and Better Price. Which active speaker should you rely on? That's a no-brainer!
